In celebration of GTA 5’s 10th anniversary this week, Rockstar has provided us with what is arguably one of the most lucrative opportunities for wealth accumulation. Let’s delve straight into the world of GTA Online to explore these exciting avenues for financial gain.
# Money-Making Strategy 1
Our first money-making method for the week brings us to the “Come Out to Play” adversary mode. This week, this particular adversary mode is offering a triple payout, which is incredibly enticing. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the wealth opportunities available. So, stay tuned until the end of this post to discover more.
To kickstart this mode, navigate to the Start menu, go to Online, select Jobs, and then choose Rockstar-created adversary modes. From there, you can explore the “Come Out to Play” adversary modes.
Now, let’s break down how this adversary mode functions. If you’re playing as a “runner,” your objective is to reach the Escape Zone without getting eliminated. Sounds straightforward, doesn’t it? Well, it is, but you’ll need to keep a close eye out for the “hunters” – their mission is to eliminate you, and they’ll be charging in on motorcycles. So, always be vigilant of your surroundings.
For those of you who are GTA Online enthusiasts like myself, you’re already aware that adversary modes are an absolute blast, and this one is no exception. Despite only having two other players in the match I joined, it was still a thrilling experience. Oh, did I forget to mention that both the hunters and runners are armed? So, it’s essentially a game of cat and mouse on wheels. I found myself listening for the sound of approaching motorcycles, taking them down, and moving forward.
During the second round, one of the two players decided to Rage Quit, which provided some unexpected amusement. Long story short, I emerged victorious in the entire match, consisting of three rounds, and walked away with a tidy sum of over $69,000. Nice.
If you and your crew are seeking an enjoyable money-making method, the “Come Out to Play” adversary mode is undoubtedly worth considering.
# Money-Making Strategy 2
Now, let’s dive into our second lucrative method: the Community Series Jobs, which are dishing out not triple, but quadruple the usual earnings! That’s right, you’ll be making four times the cash you typically would, and that’s nothing short of fantastic.
To get started, locate this specific icon on your map. Once you arrive at the designated location, simply step into the pink zone and press the right button on your D-pad to initiate the job.
For those of you unfamiliar with Community Series Jobs, these are custom-made jobs created by fellow players, not by Rockstar themselves. It appears that Rockstar selects some of the best community-created jobs each week and adds them to this public playlist for everyone to enjoy. A massive shout-out to all the talented individuals who put in the effort to craft these fantastic game modes; you all are true legends.
Now, let me share my experience with one of these community races, called “Yukahiringo Palace and Chamber.” I may have stumbled a bit on the pronunciation, for which I apologize. This particular job turned out to be a stunt race. Initially, I was wondering where the ramps and jumps were, but about a minute into the race, I found myself driving through a breathtaking castle. It felt like a thrilling ride into a Disney-inspired fantasy world – an absolute blast!
In this race, there was only one other competitor, and let me tell you, I left him in the dust. My 10F wide body car absolutely dominated the track. Claiming victory in the stunt race earned me a tidy sum of over $50,000, and the race was completed in just around six minutes. If more players had joined, I could have easily raked in over a hundred thousand dollars. So, if you’re searching for an entertaining way to stack up some cash with your friends, make sure to explore this week’s Community Series Jobs.
# Money-Making Strategy 3
Moving on to our third method for amassing wealth this week, we have the Standard Time Trial. You can locate it near Hookies Restaurant up in North Chumash, just as I do each week. I highly recommend using a motorcycle for tackling this time trial, as well as for any Standard time trial, to be honest. Motorcycles are more nimble and are particularly advantageous when you need to venture off-road, as you will for this one.
For this week’s time trial, I chose the Bati 801, a motorcycle that won’t break the bank at only $15,000. Of course, I strongly advise fully upgrading it for optimal performance. This bike offers excellent value for your money in the world of GTA Online.
Once you reach the purple time trial starting point, press the right button on your D-pad to initiate it. Immediately after starting, open your map, set a waypoint on the yellow dot indicated, then close your map and bring up your phone. Quit the time trial from there.
Now, here’s the key strategy: Position your bike at the edge of the time trial and point it in the direction of the freeway. When you’re ready, start the time trial once again. Follow the path I took in the video, which involves briefly using the freeway before taking a trail down below. You’ll stay on this trail for most of the time trial until reaching the endpoint. I’ll show the path on screen, but toward the end, I cut through a hill to make it in time.
Honestly, this week’s Standard Time Trial isn’t overly challenging. The best advice I can offer is to ride carefully. You want to maintain a good pace, but also be cautious not to veer into the river, collide with a rock, or get ejected from your bike – remember, it’s a hiking trail. If you’re using a motorcycle as recommended, try to perform a wheelie whenever possible. Simply pull back on your left stick while riding, and this will significantly boost your speed.
For successfully completing this week’s Standard Time Trial, you’re looking at a handsome payout of $101,000. It’s a quick and easy way to make money this week, so don’t miss out on this opportunity. Be sure to give this week’s Standard Time Trial a shot!
#Money-Making Strategy 4
Now, let’s delve into our fourth money-making method, which involves Lamar and Trevor contact missions. Similar to the Community Series Jobs, these missions are also offering quadruple money rewards, making them exceptionally lucrative this week. It’s an opportunity you won’t want to miss. To initiate these missions, follow these steps:
- Press Start.
- Navigate to Online.
- Select Jobs.
- Choose Rockstar Created Missions.
- Pick any mission with a “4x Money and RP” label.
These missions are refreshingly straightforward, making them accessible to players of various ranks, especially beginners. Let me share my experience with one of these missions, “It’s the G Thing.” In this mission, our objective was to head to the LSIA airport, liberate Gerald from one of those armored police vans, and transport him to the designated drop-off point. It was a quick and hassle-free mission that took only about five minutes to complete. Despite the mission’s simplicity, my teammate and I managed to earn $50,000 within that short timeframe.
Normally, contact missions are considered one of the less profitable ways to make money in the game. However, with the quadruple rewards available this week, they’ve become an unexpectedly lucrative option. I highly recommend taking advantage of these missions, especially if you’re a newcomer to GTA Online. It’s a great opportunity to build your bankroll.
For our fifth money-making method, let’s move on to…
# Money-Making Strategy 5
Now, let’s explore the HSW Time Trial. Before I get into the details of this time trial, I need to inform you that, unfortunately, this one is exclusively available to players on next-gen consoles. If you’re on an Xbox One, PS4, or PC, I’m sorry to say that you won’t have access to this time trial. However, if you’re playing on an Xbox Series X or S or a PS5, like myself, then you’re in luck.
As the name suggests, you’ll need to own an HSW (High-Speed Water) vehicle to complete an HSW time trial. Just like with the Standard Time Trial mentioned earlier, I strongly recommend using a motorcycle over a car for this one. In my opinion, the Hakuchou Drag is an excellent choice for GTA Online. It’s fast and agile, making it a great option for turning into an HSW vehicle.
To get started, head to the purple time trial starting point and press the right button on your D-pad to initiate it. Right after starting, open your map, set a waypoint on the indicated yellow dot, close your map, and bring up your phone to quit the time trial, as you did earlier.
As anyone who has completed an HSW time trial before can attest, these are remarkably easy to finish. You’re given a generous amount of time, and HSW vehicles are blazingly fast, regardless of your choice. Getting to the destination within the time limit shouldn’t be an issue. However, there is one potential challenge you might encounter: the same area from earlier, where you need to drive through once more. As mentioned previously, exercise caution, especially with this time trial, because HSW vehicles are significantly faster than other vehicles. It’s easy to accidentally speed into the river – believe me, it’s happened to me today.
Once you reach the destination successfully, you’ll receive a payout of $254,000. So, for all you next-gen console players, make sure not to miss out on the HSW Time Trial this week.
As for our sixth money-making method, let’s move on to…
# Money-Making Strategy 6
Our sixth method for making money this week involves Hangar Sell Missions. This week, Hangar sales are offering a generous double money bonus. If you thought the previous money-making methods were good, the Hangar business itself is where the real profits lie.
Once you’re inside your Hangar’s office, access the computer. Focus on sourcing from three categories at the top: narcotics, chemicals, and medical supplies. However, for optimal efficiency, source from only two of these categories. Personally, I usually start with narcotics, then chemicals, and repeat the cycle until my Hangar is fully stocked with 50 crates of Air Freight Cargo.
When you initiate a source mission, you’ll be prompted to choose between an air mission or a land mission. I strongly recommend selecting land missions as they tend to be easier and can often be completed in less than five minutes.
Once your Hangar is fully stocked, it’s time to cash in. Here’s where it gets interesting. If you sourced 25 crates from two of those three categories as recommended, you’ll receive a 35% bonus for each category. When selling, make sure to sell each category separately. Do not click the green button to sell them all together; this will result in you missing out on a significant amount of money.
Additionally, opt for a land sale mission rather than an air sale mission. Trust me, it’s the easier option. To maximize your profits further, consider selling in a full public lobby to benefit from the high demand bonus. While there’s a chance of encountering griefers, the potential earnings outweigh the risks.
Regrettably, I forgot to stock my Hangar before recording this commentary, so I’ll display the earnings from two sell missions on screen as I’ll be grinding them out after finishing this recording. The combined payouts from these two missions will give you an idea of the income you can expect.
The Hangar business is currently one of the most profitable in GTA Online, so don’t miss out on it this week.
For our final money-making method, let’s move on to…
# Money-Making Strategy 7
Our final money-making opportunity this week is the Dr. Dre contract, which is paying out double money. This is unquestionably the best money-making method this week. When Rockstar doubles the payouts for two businesses, you know it’s an exceptional week.
To get started with the Dr. Dre contract, you’ll need to own an agency. Fortunately, this week, you can purchase one at a 50% discount from Dynasty 8 Executive. If you don’t already own an agency, now is the perfect time to acquire one at a reduced cost.
To initiate the Dr. Dre contract, head to your agency office and use the computer. Navigate to the VIP Contract tab, where you can begin the missions. These missions typically take about an hour and a half to complete, and they’re not overly challenging. They are, however, filled with combat, so be sure to stock up on body armor, ammo, and snacks before diving in.
Normally, completing the entire Dr. Dre contract earns you a million dollars. However, with the double money bonus in effect, you’ll make an effortless two million dollars. If you don’t yet own an agency, the potential payout alone should be incentive enough to get one.
This week is undeniably fantastic for money-making. The payouts are remarkable, and Rockstar has truly delivered. If you still have questions or want more information about the Hangar or the agency, feel free to ask. Happy money-making!
