Essentially, the Darker Nights mod significantly enhances the darkness of nighttime in the game (screenshots appear slightly darker than in-game). I’ve also made an effort to intensify the brightness of lights, encouraging players to utilize flashlights on their weapons, along with vehicle headlights and runway lights. Thunderstorms will appear exceptionally striking, and you could find yourself gazing at the city lights for hours on end.
You can adjust your in-game brightness settings to suit your personal preferences; personally, I prefer to set it to the lowest level. If you wish to apply the darker nights to another preset, simply copy the settings from the “levels” and “liftgammagain” (and perhaps “bloom” if desired).
Update: Many users have requested increased brightness, so that’s exactly what I’ve done. It’s still relatively dark, but you’ll be able to see more without relying heavily on your lights. However, during rain or while flying, the game will remain quite dark. Additionally, I’ve made further adjustments to minimize the FPS drop.

7: This is the most easy part of the installation, it will install the ReShade. Enjoy your coffee while it downloads 🙂

BEWARE: This mod is for Singleplayer only! DO NOT USE MODS ONLINE OR YOU WILL GET BANNED!!!
I haven’t experienced this by myself but it is reported that it comes to graphic display bugs if you choose “cloudy” as weather option via trainer. I highly recommend to avoid this option until I have fixed that issue! fixed in V1.2
V 1.1 : edited all timecycle files for a better immersion and to fit better to daytime.
simply overwrite all my old timecycle files with the new ones.
V1.2: reattached a missing line in clouds.xml (thanks to wakandamuzik) so the cloudy weather issue belongs to the past.
simply overwrite my old CLOUDS.XML with the new version.
